  1. So sad to see someone else falling off the platform of truth for a false, lunar sabbath. Why not believe God and his prophets who say that the 7th day is the Sabbath?

  2. Thanks Anonymous, for your comments. At the least, I'm certain enough of where I stand to put my name behind it. Please feel free to show me the errors of the lunar-solar reckoning for all of Yah's appointed times, including the 7th day sabbath. Solid scriptural evidence, as well as reliable historical references are always welcome.

  3. Yahshua died on the 14th, right before passover on the 15th. According to Lunar Sabbath, the 15th is also the weekly Sabbath. In Luke 24, verse 1, it says that they came to his tomb on the first day of the week (I would assume we agree this is the first day after the sabbath?). But when they got to his tomb, he had already risen. But Yahshua was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights, that would mean he rose on the 17th.

This however doesn't make sense because if the women came to the tomb on the first day of the week, that would mean they came on the 16tth according to Lunar Sabbath, and Yahshua would still have been there. Is there an explanation I am not seeing? Please don't tell me that they did not come on the 16th, but waited a whole week and came on the 23rd and came on the first day of the week, 2 weeks later. This isn't what the scripture says and it doesn't make sense either. They wouldn't be putting fragrance oils on a totally decomposing body would they? They wanted to see Yahshua's body ASAP, but could not because the 15th was Passover, and Pilot was guarding the tomb for 3 days so that no one would go in and steal his body (Matthew 27:63). Is there another explanation? No.

In addition: Read Mathew 12:40, the sign of Jonah. 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS. Lunar Sabbath makes this impossible. Plus, if the Jews back in 30CE were keeping the wrong Sabbath day, why didnt Yahshua say anything about it? AT ALL?

  4. Hello Joe; Apologies for the delay in responding to your comments. No excuse.

The place we can anchor something in your scenario is the 16th day of the month, the 1st day of the week. Having studied the biblical calendar since spring 2009, this is the one thing I am fairly certain of. This would also confirm that the shabbat is on the 15th and is according to the biblical calendar, the 7th day sabbath.

From what I understand, when the women arrived at the tomb, early on the 1st day, the 16th, it was still dark, before dawn, and Yahshua was already risen. This means he arose in the dark hours of the night before day. Using biblical/Jewish reckoning, the day beginning at sunset, the 16th would have begun at sunset after the 15th. So Yahshua would have risen sometime in the night hours. This is my clearest understanding at this time.

Regarding the 3 days, 3 nights; as you are aware, there remains a lot of controversy about this scenario, even after 2000 years. My sense is there is something we don't quite grasp or understand about this concept yet. So I don't have a definitive answer for you on this point.

Re the year of the crucifixion; I personally hold to a 31CE crucifixion. From what I've been able to determine, 31 was an embolismic year, which means a 13th month was inserted in what would have been March/April in that year. And due to that situation, everything fits for the crucifixion in that year.

Re whether the Jews were keeping the correct sabbath at the time of Yahshua. With all that Yahshua chastised the Jews about, He never got after them about this issue. This appears to be a very strong confirmation that they were keeping the correct sabbath.

Hope I've covered all your points. Please feel free to email me using the link at the upper right if you have other concerns or questions.

    Regards
    Paul
